Healthcare Week Luxembourg (HWL) is a major event for healthcare professionals, researchers, and policymakers in Europe.
Since its launch in 2023, HWL has provided a vibrant platform for a dialogue on healthcare’s future, focusing on the impact of advanced digital technologies on the development of a personalised and preventive medicine.
Modelled after renowned trade fairs like SantExpo and MEDICA, HWL is organized by the Fédération des Hôpitaux Luxembourgeois (FHL) and the agency Quinze Mai in Paris, to foster the cross-sector exchange and the collaboration in the Larger Region, at the heart of Europe and around Luxembourg.
The second edition of HWL was held on 1 and 2 October 2024 with great success. It attracted 3,000 visitors (20 per cent more than the previous year) and featured renowned speakers such as three Luxembourgish ministers, Bogi Eliasen from the Copenhagen Institute for Futures Studies, Jean-Philippe Arié from Luxinnovation or FHL president Philippe Turk. It also celebrated innovation through the HWL Awards, honouring achievements in medical research, hospital management, and start-up innovation.
waveL was tasked to manage HWL’s international PR and communications, including the development of its key narratives and storybook, its promotion in Germany, France, and Belgium, the orchestration of interviews with HWL’s experts and ambassadors, the support of HWL’s social media campaigns and partnerships with media and publishers like German FOCUS Gesundheit (Burda) or Belgian Le Journal du Médecin (Roularta).
The third edition of HWL is scheduled for 1 and 2 October 2025.
